Scope of work:

Bids are hereby invited for the SUPPLY, DELIVERY OF SERVER RACK CABINET & INSTALLATION OF UPS AT HARTEBEESTFONTEIN OFFICE PARK

Scope of work is (But not limited to) the following:

1.     Server rack cabinet must be a 31U and grey in colour.

2.     The server rack cabinet must have two shelves.

3.     The rack cabinet must have a lockable glass door.

4.     A suitable or built in enclosure fan must be fitted in the rack.

5.     A PDU (Power sub distribution socket outlets) enough to fit in a full rack.

6.     Cables to be refitted in existing racking and patch panels.

7.     The UPS must be a 3 KVA in line 230 VAC to 230VAC unit with a 30 minutes back up.

8.     The UPS shall be supplied from the distribution board.

9.     Suitable by pass switch for the UPS must be included.

10.  Supply cables and 20A circuit breaker must be supplied

11.  Equipment and workmanship must be guarantee for twelve months.

12.  Work to be done over the weekend.

13.  The issuing of an electrical certificate of compliance for the installation is compulsory.

General requirements:

·       Project manager Project managers must have wireman’s license and the company must be electrical registered with department of labour. Non- compliance to this requirement will lead to disqualifications

Quotation Requirements:

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on the ERWAT vendors list. Forms to be downloaded from the ERWAT website. Quotation evaluation shall be performed on 80:20 principle (pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Certified copy or original BBBEE Compliance Certificate;
  • Valid Tax Clearance Pin issued by SARS on e-filing;
  • Copy of Latest Municipal Account (not older than three months from date of closing);
  • Declaration of Interest – MBD 4.2

NB: Bidders will not be allowed on any of the ERWAT sites without a work permit and the correct PPE gear.

GENERAL NOTES:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the relevant bid number and description that must be deposited in the relevant tender box on the said closing date on or before 12:00 pm

No late bids will be accepted or considered.

Bidders are required to ensure that their bid is deposited in the correct bid box that is marked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 

The closing date will be the indication for which tender box day is relevant.
