Supply, rental, delivery and collection of office containers and ablution facilities at ERWAT head office and old laboratory

 

1. Background

ERWAT (East Rand Water Care Company) is seeking for quotations from suitable, qualifying and experienced contractor who specialises in the Supply, Rental, and Plumbing Connection of mobile prefabricated containers. The supplier must provide for Delivery and Collection of the mobile containers.

The purpose of this project is to provide staff at the Hartebeestfontein Waste Water Treatment Works with temporary offices and Ablution Facilities.

 

2. Scope of work

The scope of work requires bidders to Supply, Deliver, and provide Rental facilities of prefabricated office containers to ERWAT. The bidders must also provide for connection services, (the plumbing connection and the electrical connection. The bidders must also be aware that they provide for transportation services, the Delivery and Collection of the office containers and ablution Facilities at ERWAT Head Office.

  1. The details of the containers are as follows:

    The awarded bidder is to service ERWAT with four (No4) mobile assembled temporary offices. The prefabricated mobile offices comprise of the following four units’ office containers:

      1. The three (No 3) office containers of (6m by 3m) size to be divided into two (No 2) offices, thus providing for space for six individual.

      2. The fourth container is to be divided into two compartments, the ablution facilities (for both Male and Female) and the Kitchenette. 

    1. The contents of the containers should come with air conditioners for the six staff office and one at the kitchenette.

    2. The flooring should be vinyl coating or wooden and the container must be insulated:

    3. The containers must have provision for plumbing and electrification.

       

      3. Qualification criteria

  • Provide prior knowledge of supplying of container.

  • Containers should meet the specified requirements.

  • Delivery period once an order number is issued.

  • Suppliers should be registered on ERWAT data base or /with Central Supplier’s Data (CSD).

4. Quotation requirements:

Work offered that DOES NOT comply with the data sheet will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on the ERWAT vendors list, forms to be downloaded from the ERWAT website. The evaluation of quotations shall be performed on 80:20 principles (pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

Above points must be added to points scored for price.

Only bidder with the highest points scored may be selected.

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on National Treasury’s Centralised Supplier Database.

Website Tenders evaluation shall be performed on 80:20 principles (Pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%).

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO MEET ANY OR ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION

  • Valid Certified copy or original BBBEE Compliance Certificate;
  • Valid Tax Clearance Pin issued by SARS on e-filing;
  • Copy of Latest Municipal Account (not older than three months from date of closing);
  • Declaration of Interest – MBD 4.2

NB: Bidders will not be allowed on any of the ERWAT sites without a work permit and the correct PPE gear.

GENERAL NOTES:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the relevant bid number and description that must be deposited in the relevant tender box on the said closing date on or before 12:00 pm

No late bids will be accepted or considered.

Bidders are required to ensure that their bid is deposited in the correct bid box that is marked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 

The closing date will be the indication for which tender box day is relevant.
