Bidders are hereby invited for the:

 

Supply and delivery of 150 keyed alike padlocks

 

Scope of work:

 

The scope of work shall include (but not limited to):

 

  1. The supply and and delivery of 150 keyed alike padlocks

 

  Equipment Requirements:

 

  1. The locks comply to the following;

 

  1. The locks and keys must be made according to the exiting lock that is in use.

  2. The locks in use are 45 mm wide nylon encapsulated pad lock with a 28 mm Standard Stainless Steel Shackle (316 Grade).

  3. A sample of the exiting lock with a key will be provided.

  4. The Locks must be marked as follows – MV 151 through to MV 300.

  5. The twenty keys must be marked as follows – MV 30 through to MV 50

  6. Delivery of locks to the Erwat Head office.

  General Requirements:

 

  1. Supplier information, like brochures and data sheets detailing the compliance to the equipment requirement must be part of the submission

  2. Equipment details must be specified in the submission including the, make, model number and local supplier details

  3. Proof from equipment supplier of authorized equipment installer status must be part of the submission

  4. All the equipment and general has to be complied with, non-compliance to any one of these requirement will lead to disqualification

  5. Delivery period to be specified in the quotation.

     

 

NB: Bidders whom do not meet the above general requirements will not be considered.

  • Proof of Experience

 

Quotation Requirements:

 

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on the ERWAT vendors list. Forms to be downloaded from the ERWAT website. Quotation evaluation shall be performed on Functionality Criteria (Minimum Functionality scoring 80%) and  80:20 principle (pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

Website Tenders evaluation shall be performed on 80:20 principles (Pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO MEET ANY OR ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION

  • Valid Certified copy or original BBBEE Compliance Certificate;
  • Valid Tax Clearance Pin issued by SARS on e-filing;
  • Copy of Latest Municipal Account (not older than three months from date of closing);
  • Declaration of Interest – MBD 4.2 [ download form ].

NB: Bidders will not be allowed on any of the ERWAT sites without a work permit and the correct PPE gear.

GENERAL NOTES:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the relevant bid number and description that must be deposited in the relevant tender box on the said closing date on or before 12:00 pm

No late bids will be accepted or considered.

Bidders are required to ensure that their bid is deposited in the correct bid box that is marked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 

The closing date will be the indication for which tender box day is relevant.
