SUPPLY, FITTING OF THE RECEPTION CARPET AND TILE AREA AROUND THE CLARIFIERS

SCOPE OF WORK:

The scope of work shall include supply and install (but not limited to) the following:

  1. Remove old furniture and carpet

  2. Supply and fit new carpet.

  3. Supply Pumps that can be regulated for even spray on the clarifier

  4. Supply suitable new pebble stones around the clarifiers.

  5. Tile area around the clarifier.

  6. Seal water seepage on the entrance door

  7. Repair existing electrical work around the clarifiers and issue compliance certificate (The COC will be inspected by ERWAT internal Electrical inspector).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The successful bidder is required to provide samples of the carpet to be supplied before installation

  • The successful bidder will be required to remove and dispose the existing carpet

  • The successful bidder will be required to work during hours specified by ERWAT (i.e on weekends)

  • The successful bidder is required to do final checks and inspections of the are before commencing with the actual work.

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated.

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on National Treasury’s Centralised Supplier Database. (www.csd.gov.za).

Website Tenders evaluation shall be performed on 80:20 principles (Pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO MEET ANY OR ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION

  • Valid Certified copy or original BBBEE Compliance Certificate;
  • Valid Tax Clearance Pin issued by SARS on e-filing;
  • Copy of Latest Municipal Account (not older than three months from date of closing);
  • Declaration of Interest – MBD 4.2 [ download form ].

NB: Bidders will not be allowed on any of the ERWAT sites without a work permit and the correct PPE gear.

GENERAL NOTES:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the relevant bid number and description that must be deposited in the relevant tender box on the said closing date on or before 12:00 pm

No late bids will be accepted or considered.

Bidders are required to ensure that their bid is deposited in the correct bid box that is marked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 

The closing date will be the indication for which tender box day is relevant.
