Bids are hereby invited to SUPPLY DD5 WASTE WATER WORKS WITH BA SETS.

 

Scope of Work.

     

Supply DD5 with 12 BA sets for the use in Chlorine dosing facilities.

 

The sets to be provided should comply with the following criteria.

 

  • Data sheet for Breathing Apparatus – Safety Equipment:

Automatic Positive pressure compressed air breathing apparatus comprising of PA 90 Series: - antistatic back plate made from high strength composite material having a high degree of chamical and impact.

 

  • Resistance:

  • Harness which allows for easy fitting and removal.

  • With a pressure reducer featuring a spare medium pressure connection and safety pressure relief valve

  • An advanced piston design atomic positive pressure push in type lung demand valve.

  • A cylinder strap for accommodating all types and sizes of cylinders having a camlock arrangement.

  • Arrangement

  • The whistle warning unit should be mounted on the left shoulder strap.

  • A pressure gauge with luminous dial calibrated in bars.

  • The face mask should be the famous pamorana nova pp positive pressure universal.

  • Neoprene self-demisting face mask.

  • Replaceable visor speech transmitter, loaded expirator valve.

  • Spring loaded cylinder valve to avoid accidental closing

  • Provision for second lung demand valve connection

  • Provision for airline connection

  • Cylinder having 200/300 bar pressure, 6 ltr water capacity duration of 30/45 minutes approved by certificate.

  • Approvals:

  • Approved to EN 137, Certificate No. 000713 issued by SGS Yarsely and Lloyed’s register off shipping certificate no. MED 0050313 for main application quality standards iso:9001, BS 5750 Part-l.

  • Certificates:

  • Cylinder certificate, cylinder valve certificate and NOC from the department of explosive to be provided with she supply.

  • Hand carrying case made out of LLDP Material which is light and strong to accommodate compressed air breathing apparatus sets should also be provided.

 

General Notes and Requirements

 

  1. Please note that the Contractor will be responsible for his own safety, transport and delivery to Ancor WWCW arrangements.

  2. Note that an official order number will only be issued to service providers on the ERWAT procurement vendor list.  Service providers who wish to apply to be placed on the mentioned list can offload the application document from the ERWAT website on www.erwat.co.za.

  3. Note that if you did not quote for all items on the list, you will not be considered.

Above points must be added to points scored for price.

Only bidder with the highest points scored may be selected.

GENERAL NOTES

 

Goods offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be acepted. The successful bidder must register on the ERWAT vendors list. Forms to be downloaded from the ERWAT website. Quotation evaluation shall be performed on 80:20 principle (pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

 

Please note that it is the responsibility of the bidder to insure that his/her quotation/proposal is received by ERWAT’s relevant personnel.

 

Complete quotation with supporting documents must be sealed and externally endorsed with CONTRACT NUMBER and marked “SUPPLY ANCOR WASTE WATER WORKS WITH BA SETS.” and placed in the Bid Box identified “Monday” at ERWAT Head Office, Bapsfontein Road, Kempton Park, not later than 12H00 on MONDAY 29 JANUARY 2017

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on National Treasury’s Centralised Supplier Database.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO MEET ANY OR ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION

  • Valid Certified copy or original BBBEE Compliance Certificate;
  • Valid Tax Clearance Pin issued by SARS on e-filing;
  • Copy of Latest Municipal Account (not older than three months from date of closing);
  • Declaration of Interest – MBD 4.2

NB: Bidders will not be allowed on any of the ERWAT sites without a work permit and the correct PPE gear.
