Bidders are hereby invited for the:

 

Seal roof leaks, repair buglar, replace all locks and broken windows, paint main office building and replace gutters

 

Scope of work:

 

The scope of work shall include (but not limited to) the following:

  1. Seal Roof leaks where necessary.

  2. Repair burglar doors and replace all locks

  3. Replace broken windows

  4. Clean and prepare gutters and down pipes surface.

  5. Application of rust inhibiting primer product and paint

  6. Paint main office building

 General requirements:

  1. Data sheets of primer and final paint product must be submitted.

  2. The painting must include all facia boards, gutters, roof and auxiliary items

  3. The paint must be guaranteed for minimum of 10 years by the supplier

  4. The paint must be matched with the existing colour.

 

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on the ERWAT vendors list. Forms to be downloaded from the ERWAT website. Quotation evaluation shall be performed on 80:20 principles (pricing and functionality 80% and BBBEE 20%)

Ps = Points scored for price of bid under consideration.

Pt = Rand value of bid under consideration.

Maximum of 20 points may be awarded for being HDI, subcontracting with an HDI, and/or achieving specified goals.

Above points must be added to points scored for price.

Only bidder with the highest points scored may be selected.

  • Proof of work of similar nature

  • Correct PPE to be worn when coming to site for the briefing session.

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

Work offered that DO NOT comply with the specifications will not be evaluated. The successful bidder must register on National Treasury’s Centralised Supplier Database.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO MEET ANY OR ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION

  • Valid Certified copy or original BBBEE Compliance Certificate;
  • Valid Tax Clearance Pin issued by SARS on e-filing;
  • Copy of Latest Municipal Account (not older than three months from date of closing);
  • Declaration of Interest – MBD 4.2

NB: Bidders will not be allowed on any of the ERWAT sites without a work permit and the correct PPE gear.
